REAGAN

Told through the lens of a former KGB agent (Jon Voight as Viktor Petrovich), Reagan chronicles Ronald Reagan's journey from small-town Illinois through his Hollywood acting career to the presidency. Beginning decades later in Moscow, Petrovich recounts how Reagan's values and charisma eventually contributed to the fall of Communism. Along the way we see his marriages to Jane Wyman and Nancy Davis, his fierce battle with unions as Screen Actors Guild president, the 1966 California governorship, the 1981 assassination attempt, and his defining foreign policy battles-including "Evil Empire" rhetoric, the Berlin Wall speech, Iran Contra, and SDI. It concludes with his Alzheimer's diagnosis, his 2004 death, and worldwide mourning-portraying both political milestones and personal moments of faith, love, and conviction.
